Outsource the distribution of MSDSs
for increased efficiencies and productivity

3E MSDS Distribution

3E MSDS Distribution services offer a powerful suite of products providing cost savings and process improvement for manufacturers, distributors and users of chemicals. Outsourcing the distribution of (M)SDSs can result in greater cost efficiencies, increased value to downstream end-user customers, improved compliance, reduced risk and protection of the corporate brand.

3E Online® MSDS Hosting

The 3E Online MSDS Hosting application provides access to product (M)SDSs via a manufacturer or distributor-specific website hosted by 3E launched from the customer's website and maintaining the customer's corporate identity via display of its corporate logo. This enables end-users to retrieve (M)SDSs by customer-defined product identifiers. The extremely intuitive interface minimizes the number of keystrokes required to retrieve the (M)SDS for the desired product, the relevant regulatory jurisdiction, and in the desired language. Users have live, 24-7-365 access to 3E to either help them navigate to the desired document or request that the desired document be faxed or emailed to them. Translation assistance is provided in a number of languages via an interpreter. Ad hoc distribution requests are also logged into the document distribution history. Upon request, other EH&S document types such as biocide registrations, kosher certificates, technical data sheets or toxicological summaries can be hosted and available for retrieval.

3E MSDS Push

3E MSDS Push ensures that a company's (M)SDSs are sent to their customers in accordance with the regulatory requirements for the jurisdictions in which sales are made. With this program, which requires no capital investment, an improved level of compliance can be achieved, higher quality documents distributed and significant savings may be realized. When a new sale occurs, a client defined distribution rule determines whether distribution is required. When necessary, the appropriate document is retrieved and sent to the appropriate recipient using the mode of communication specified. A single sale can trigger distribution of multiple documents to one or more parties using one or more distribution modes, including postal mail, facsimile or email. Clearly, moving away from a paper-based model to one that is rule based and supports electronic distribution will drive significant savings and can boost customer satisfaction. At the same time, having the flexibility to fulfill customers' demand for hard copies is also important. Ad hoc document distribution by CD is also available. The new sale rule, coupled with the (M)SDS revision and SARA 313 distribution rules ensure compliance. This global solution supports multiple jurisdictions and languages. 3E MSDS Push clients can even import distribution history from legacy applications. All push activity is available for monitoring via standard reports and support for ad hoc queries is also available. 24-7-365 live assistance is provided to end-users who can call and obtain an (M)SDS, if available. Translation assistance is provided in a number of languages via an interpreter.

3E MSDS eLink

3E MSDS eLink provides access to (M)SDSs via the manufacturer or distributor's own website rather than one supplied by 3E, creating a completely transparent experience to the end-user. A link from the product or (M)SDS listing on the manufacturer's website accesses an (M)SDS image that is hosted and maintained by 3E. If an end-user wants to view an (M)SDS prior to purchasing a product or for use in training post-purchase, they simply visit the manufacturer's website, search for the product and click on the active link next to a product description.
