3E Online® - MSDS Enhancement Modules
3E’s MSDS management services offer a variety of options and enhancement modules that can be configured based on a customer’s EH&S information management needs. 3E Online-MSDS: Standard and Expert Edition subscribers can choose to add any or all of the following:
Onsite Inventory Assessment
Customers can either supply an existing list of products to 3E or, as an enhancement, 3E can provide a convenient, site-specific inventory by sending an inventory specialist on-site.
Chemical Approval
Enables customers to effectively manage and control what chemicals enter a given facility. Weekly notifications are sent to the designated Approval Manager when new products that require review are added to a site specific inventory. The Approval Manager can review the (M)SDS and other product information to determine whether or not the product should be allowed onsite.
Approval Managers can even compare products against the 40+ regulatory lists maintained in 3E Online as well as any custom lists such as a banned chemical list, to see how products pending approval are regulated, which helps make the decision whether to approve or deny a hazardous product.
REACH
By utilizing the inventories created in 3E Online, the REACH module enables users to determine their own REACH role for each product. Users may then upload volume information and produce reports that will de-formulate any product/mixture that is exported to, or manufactured in the EU, and show the tonnage for each substance.
Proprietary Document Attachments
Provides the ability to upload, for storage and retrieval, additional documents associated with each inventory product, such as Workplace Safety Sheets, in multiple formats and languages. These documents are only accessible by authorized users as designated by the customer.
3E-Ariel RegImpact
For customers who need access to global regulatory content, this module provides access to the Ariel chemical regulatory database and an expanded regulatory impact analysis feature to enable better understanding of the impact of regulatory changes on a customer’s raw materials, components and products that specifically apply to their entire organization down to a single inventory location. Additionally, customers can track regulatory changes within their inventories. Users can also run change reports based on specified location and date range, enabling them to analyze the impact of the regulatory change on their operation. This modules is only available with Expert Edition.
EU Labeling
3E Online provides multilingual access to EU Labeling information based on data provided on the SDS. Users may access this information in English, Spanish, German, French and Italian.
Chemical Classification
View products classified using the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Hazardous Materials Identification System (HMIS) ratings. Chemical Classification evaluates products according to federal, state and local standards. By capturing key physical property information from the SDS, products can be classified according to NFPA standards, Uniform Fire Code, BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, and the SBCCI Standard Fire Prevention Code.
SARA Candidate Lists
Generate Candidate Lists, either by product or by chemical, that detail a chemical inventory against SARA Title III Sections 311/312/313criteria: fire, reactivity, pressure, acute, and chronic health hazard. SARA Candidate Lists also provides valuable support documentation's backup to regulatory reporting obligations. This module is included in Expert Edition at no additional cost.
Labeling
View and print NFPA and HMIS secondary container labels using pre-formatted label sheets at any time or create a custom label with specific product or usage notes.
