Ariel MSDS Multilingual Phrases
Available in dozens of languages, MSDS Multilingual Phrases provide an efficient method for global companies to simplify the creation and authoring MSDSs/SDSs, labels and other documents by automatically translating standard health and safety phrases into multiple languages. The number of phrases is constantly expanding, as driven by regulatory requirements. Standard Statements for the authoring of MSDSs and labels are used to populate the sections of an MSDS, e.g. phrases on health effects, preventative measures, personal protection, handling and storage recommendations, and hazard and disposal recommendations. The library also includes 16 section header and sub-header phrases.
The MSDS Phrases are available in three language packages:
- Western European Languages
- Central and Eastern European Languages
- Asian Languages
For a detailed list of specific languages, contact a 3E Company sales representative.
Ariel Multilingual Exposure Scenario (ES) Phrases
To meet the demands of REACH, the Ariel Exposure Scenario Phrases can be used for creating and translating Exposure Scenarios and the creation of eSDSs (Extended Safety Data Sheets). This library contains the European Standard Phrases Catalogue, EuPhraC ES package, which is established and maintained by the Business Europe Working Group EuPhraC (WG EuPhraC), and is widely accepted as the industry standard by manufacturers throughout Europe.
The Ariel ES Phrase package includes ES headers, User Descriptors and ES phrases from sector groups in nearly 30 languages. The sector group phrases included in the current version are from ESIG (European Solvents Industry Group) and CONCAWE (the Oil Companies European Association). As more sectors publish phrases, those phrases will be added in subsequent versions of the library.
While the Ariel ES Phrase Library is mapped to the respective SAP EHS Management properties and characteristics and delivered in a series of SAP EHS-ready import files, the library can also be delivered as a standalone database.
