The use of nanomaterials in numerous products is rapidly growing with ever-expanding applications. In spite of this growth, there is an incomplete knowledge of the health, environmental and safety aspects of these materials as well as global regulatory differences. The result is that potential hazards, testing approaches and regulatory requirements may not be adequately addressed. A thorough understanding of nanomaterials and their associated products would provide the information necessary to respond to any safety concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
